Has become depricated. I don't feel like changing all the crap in it so I will be starting a new one.

|Six months between posts, not too bad...
Well things went well last year for the most part. Now that I have things with getting my degree in order maybe I can have a life. Wa ha, probably not but atleast I have time to go see Kill Bill.
Been big into Dir En Grey lately. Its some sort of Japanese NIN/KMFDM sort of group. Quite good in my opinion. Along with my usual assortment of Front Line Assembly and Freezepop. I'm the fricking king of odd genre combinations.
Three tests on Wed. hopefully I won't choke. Should do well on them though, I think being forced to do mathematical drugery has been good for me. Physics degree here I come.
I've been on a reading spree as well. Currently I've finished off: "What do you care what other people think" and "Surely you're joking Mr. Feynman" both by Feynman himself. Then I reread Choke, still like it. I think it is probably how Fight Club was meant to be written.
I feel guilty that I have broken my abstention from caffine. I was doing pretty good and kept it up all summer. Now that I need to stay up all hours though I need the caffine again to work. Hopefully it won't get back to the crazy LD50 levels it was before.
Ah well I guess thats it for now, tune in sometime in December when I will probably update this again.

This article worries me. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A48265-2003Mar29.html
This is the sort of crap that made Vietnam go on forever. And I guarantee that if the draft gets implimented there will be rioting the likes of which LA has never seen. Once again it is proven that politics is the quickest way to ruin.
In other news there was this article.http://www.heraldsun.news.com.au/common/story_page/0,5478,6206548%5E663,00.html
Aparently Kim Jong-il along with having the worlds largest porn collection despises triplets. Since 3 is an auspicous number in NK he thinks that triplets would be a threat to his leadership. So all triplets are taken from their family and locked away in orphinages. Thats some fucked up shit. I mean yea Saddam is evil but Kim is just plain crazy at this point. Once we get done with Iraq we should lean hard on the asian countries to remove him. I mean Saddam is a known value, but Kim could one day decide that the US wants to steal his kidneys and start a massive attack. Screw that, kill the bastard I'm sure anyone in that country could do a better job. I'm sure China wouldn't mind him going missing at this point either.
The whole SG/LJ drama is stupid. If SG had a problem with the community they could have just insisted on having it deleted. Now they are in the position of just being fucktards who can't take criticism. Which I believe to be the case in any event. Maybe instead of goat porn we should just make the suicidegirls community a place where we can support the palestinian cause.

|Use this entry...
Someone put a copy of the member list into a comment in this entry. I don't have a paid membership so I can't see it.
What people should do is just send a nice friendly message that the suicide girls group has been close and people are moving to sgirls. Don't be nasty or make accusations.
What to do:
1. Pick a range of people off the the membership list of the suicide girls group in this entry.
2. Check to make sure that someone else in the comments has not taken that range.
3. Post in this entry that you are going to contact that range of people.
4. Post _1_ nice brief message to each person you claimed that the suicide girls group has moved to sgirls. Either put it in as a comment in one of their entries or if it doesn't allow posting send them 1 email. If there is no way to contact them then don't worry.
5. Post as a response to the entry you made in this journal that you did contact them.
It is a nice and easy thing to do for people who might not otherwise find sgirls. It is also not spammish since you are only sending 1 message and people should not get more than 1 message.
|Go go gadeget clorine ion plasma etcher!
Well looks like my ability to make pcbs will improve now that I have figured out what I need to do. Now all I have to do is find some software to design a suitable microwave antenna. Maybe I can scavange some parts out of a broken residential microwave. I also need to figure out what I should use to make vias in the boards. Maybe I could use an O+ plasma, but I don't want to have to do wonky sublimation crap. Maybe there is a way for me to just etch it with plasma then disolve it in a dillute solution.
Eventually I want to get a setup that can do a 8.5x11 sheet of substrate and doesn't require the input of feed stock, just boards. Also I have to get a vapor coater working for metalizing polymers.
Must get out of the house first though, maybe I'll do see Basic with some friends. Anyone know if it is any good?

|Ugh, so tired...
Back from looing in telescopes all night. I can now describe in annoying detail direct observations of various planets, rings, nebuli and brick a brack. Way too much caffine to keep me up, my eye is getting twitchy. My eye always gets twitchy when I am pretty much saturated with caffine. The other eye is unaffected for some reason (To clarify I have the use of BOTH eyes, I am not a pirate.) Some nifty equipment that costs more than a senseably priced compact car. 15K+ telescopes and 5K+ equitorial mounts. All smooth and computer controlled. The guy that was in charge of the 16inch telescope was kind of a perv though. Not that I cared since the two girls he was hitting on were vapid giggly 18 year olds.
Bought issues 2 - 6 of Final Order, the remake of the ending of the battle angel alita series. Its actually pretty good, I'm glad I picked it up. Now if I could only meet a petite girl that could kill me five times before I hit the ground.
Also picked up the last trade back of Transmetropolitan I needed. I have a complete set now except for The End which I don't think is out yet.
I must remember to take a nap tommarow, there is no way I will make it thru my chem lab tommarow without more sleep.
Don't really feel like ranting about SG anymore. Its really not worth the energy, and really the quality of the pics were going down hill. One thing that I think most porn sites miss is that fetishism and sex are typically like most addictions. You need more and/or different stimulation to gain the same effect over time. The whole site seems to have become some formula based site, where Teh Nekk1d Ch1cks + H00n3hy D00ds == Pr0fi+! The sets are looking mostly the same, the girls are looking the same, the same tired arguments are the same. I mena jesus christ on a pogo-stick people! Grow a fucking spine! Well I'm ranting again, no cookie for me.

Well I got banned from the Suicide Girl forums today. Oh well the the vapid drama of the place was starting to grate on me anyway. Cancelled my subscription and thats that. Hopefully I'll find another site to fulfill my jaded desires. Dia's Deviant Nation looks promising, but is currently vaporware. Heh, be nice to see DN take off and wipe SG out. Dia should outfit an army of homeless people with sandwich boards to advertise DN.

By far one of the funnier comics out there:
Swiped from: Ultra Violence
some sort of Sakura parody. Havn't seen Sakura myself though.

Anyone want to give me 1000$? I'll probably blow it on misc bills and other entertainment but hey! Its only money. Current Mood: weird

WTF is wrong with Sir Richard Branson! I'm watching these Virgin mobile commercials and they make no sense. I mean they are cool and everything but is Branson on some sort of wacked out drug?! The guy is great though, the most insane rich guy I've ever seen. Current Mood: Wacked
Many bothans died bringing you this livejournal. Current Mood: bouncy

Bah, I need to get a GameCube now. To many good games available on it. So that means that in order to get all my fixes I have to buy 3 damn systems now. Where the hell is a PO' student suppose to get that much money. What with my DVD and PC habits I'm blowing too much cash! Hopefully I will be able to get some of the better stuff for my GBA. I wonder if the used places have Circle of the Night.
I've been reading up on how the PS3 is suppose to work. I love how IBM is all "WE invented grid computing" but all of that was written up in academic papers back in the 60's/70's. Maybe the patents on all that crap finally ran out and they could start using those techniques. A hypercube will still beat the pants off of your grid technology IBM!
Hmm I have to figure out a way to pay for summer classes now too. I don't feel like spending 2 years getting crappy gen ed credits for my EE/CS degree. If I go full time during the summers theoretically I should be able to shave 1 or 2 semesters off. After that I can slow it down a bit depending on where I end up for my engineering coursework. Hopefully I don't end up going back to GVSU.
Anyone know any good recent anime that has come out? Last decent thing I saw was cowboy bebop. I wonder if the Anime Club at GVSU has improved any. When it first started it was cool but then it began to suck hardcore after Colton graduated.
And as you can see from my mood indicator I continue to be annoyed. Current Mood: annoyed
Ok since everyone seems to be posting crap about going to war with Iraq I will toss out my unvarnished opinion.
It boils down to: Fuck Saddam right in the ass!
Yea, he hasn't been militarily aggressive except for his continuing violations of the peace treaty that kept his ass alive. People say "Oh well we pulled the UN monitors out of Iraq". Yea we did, and that happened because in all we were probably going to bomb Baghdad again. And we were going to bomb them because THEY WERE VIOLATING THE TREATY. Iraq is in the category of a future threat to US interests. They really are not a current threat though. But I think that Iraq will try to strike back at the US, Saudi Arabia (maybe) and Israel in the future. So why not stop it now? It will cause fewer total deaths and eliminate a threat to the stability of that rather volatile region. Who knows, maybe it won't take a full scale assault to remove him. But he does have to go, just like Arafat and Sharon have to go.
I don't think that waiting around for Saddam to rebuild his army and develop new weapons will improve our position in the future. Current Mood: annoyed

So what is up with this new west Nile virus scare. People are acting like it is the coming of the apocalypse. To bad that west Nile is only deadly when you have a faulty immune system. So people with AIDS, the very old and very young are the only people that have to worry. That and the fact that people are more likely to die from the flu than west Nile.
On a side note, what the hell is ALF doing in commercials now?! He was barley funny back when he had a show. Now its just a tired gag of digging up failed sitcom stars. Yes I realize that Alf isn't real, but still.
Well I managed to get my student loan from GRCC. At least I have something going my way right now. Hopefully I can just get some monkey job on-campus babysitting a computer lab for a few hours a day. I wish I could find something in my field part-time but I think I would have better luck parting the red sea.
Still on-target with getting back in shape. Visions of large angry drill sergeants in my head. At least I don't have to drag wall lockers all over anymore. Now all I have to do is hope my shoulder doesn't break again.
Still getting the run around from all concerned with CLEC status. But then its dealing with bureaucracy so I guess its to be expected. Death by deliberation!
Picked up some new Red Elvis CDs. Still great, glad I started finding their stuff after watching 6 string samurai.
Almost done reinstalling everything on my PC. WinXP runs at a reasonable speed again. Unfortunately I found I don't have all the software I once had. But I guess that’s what I get for using all warzed software.
I can't wait until I'm unpoor again. Current Mood: apathetic

Wow, it has been a while since I updated this journal. A good amount has happened too. Tech market washout gobbling up demand for my skills. Going back to school to finish my EE/CS degree. A lot of crap and some good stuff mixed in. But as usual I survive it all and come out on top.
I've been working on setting up a DSL service way out here. There is nothing for high-speed internet in the area except for expensive 250$/month wireless service. So I should be able to buy a cheap Dslam on ebay for a grand toss it into the local CO and charge local businesses 100$ a month for fractional T1 access. Only stick that could get tossed into the spokes of my plan would be if I need to become a CLEC.
Watched 'Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels' today. That movie never gets old.
Have to remember to climb up the Mt again tomorrow. I'm really starting to feel better now that I regularly exercise again.
Who knows, maybe I will write another journal tomorrow.
